Vintage Antique Micro Seed Beads size 18/o Metallic Pink

♥ These fabulously old micro beads were manufactured some time between the late 1800's and the 1940's. They're a (tiny!) size 18/o seed bead, which allows for incredible detail & resolution.
When strung, there are about 30-35 beads per inch, and the bag weighs approximately 3 grams.

The color shows some moderate fading, but it's not as extreme as the (first) highly magnified pic suggests. In fact, they're surprisingly vibrant and colorfast for their age! It's a metallic hot pink ~ somewhere between bubblegum & fucshia :o)

These beads are not attracted to a magnet -- they're glass beads with a metallic finish, rather than genuine metal beads.

♥ ♥ These pictures have been magnified to give a good sense of color and shape. Any dust or debris in the photos are generally *tiny* specks not visible to the naked eye.
The coin isn't included - it's just there to give a sense of scale.
