Green Leaf Leather Barrette or Hairstick

Description

This sculpted leather leaf barrette measures about 5 & 1/2" wide by 2 & 1/4" high, and it's painted in shimmery shades of teal and apple green.

The hairpiece closes with a hand carved hairstick which measures about 6" long. I think that the wood is padauk, but I'm not sure ... the artist that I traded with told me, but it was some time ago and I can't find where I wrote it down ;o)
