Red Oak Leaf Leather Barrette

Description

This sculpted leather barrette was modeled after the rich red oak leaves around my neighborhood. It measures about 5" wide by 2 & 1/2" high, and it's dyed and painted in deep red and golden yellow.

The haripiece closes with a handcarved hairstick made of osage orange, which is gorgeous orange yellow wood. The hairstick measures about 6" long.
